Cingular Ringback Tones
Cingular ringback tones have been available since 2006 although they were the last to launch ringback tones for their customers. Cingular charges $1 per month for the ringback service and then $2 per cingular ringback tone you purchase. From what I've heard, they do have a pretty good selection of ringback tones (not as large as Virgin Mobile though.) Cingular just doesn't seem to be interested in pushing the ringback tones as much, most likely because they don't think their customers demographics match with the interest. Ringback tones are usually used more by teens but I think the older crowd is starting to get into them too.
Downloading Music Ringtones to Your Phone
You can always download ringback tones or ringtones right from Cingular but if you can't find a song you can always try one of the other popular ringtone sites. Here are a few of the hottest ringback/ringtone sites that usually have just about ANY song available.
